Julianne Moore has been one of the prolific actresses in Hollywood since the early ‘90s, particularly known for her depiction of emotionally troubled women both in independent and blockbuster films. Following her studies in theater at Boston University, she started her acting career with a series of roles in television, including As the World Turns, which earned her credit for her performance and got a Daytime Emmy Award. Moore then made her film debut in Tales from the Darkness: The Movie back in 1990.
The actress then went on to play small roles for the following years in films like The Hand That Rocks the Cradle. Eventually, Moore’s career flourished, and she landed numerous film and television projects throughout her career. She’s also established a career as an author of children’s books. Moore’s beauty seems to not wane and still actively takes part in film projects, with a number of movies under production.
