Viola Davis | $25 Million

A passion for something can be discovered at any part of one’s life. For Viola Davis, she found her love for acting during her high school years. Throughout that period, the actress polished and improved on her acting chops. A few years later, Davis finished her studies with a Bachelor of Arts degree in theater from Rhode Island College and a graduate diploma from Juilliard School.

Beginning her career in stage productions, Davis eventually made her way to more on-screen gigs. While her first few roles were mainly for minor parts or as an extra, the actress got her movie breakthrough back in 2008, starring in that year’s Doubt. Since then, she has become most known for her performance in projects like Fences, How to Get Away with Murder, Widows, and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. Along with running her own production company called JuVee Productions, the actress has also garnered recognition for being a vocal advocate of human rights.
