Ellen DeGeneres is big as a stand-up comedian before starting her own television show, Ellen. She has been the host, since 2003, of her own award-winning talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Early in her life, she wanted to be a veterinarian, but she gave up the idea because she was “not book smart.” She waited tables, sold vacuum cleaners, worked as a legal secretary, and painted houses instead. Once in a public speaking event, DeGeneres found herself frightened in front of a crowd. And so, she used humor to through the experience. Since then, her journey towards comedy has taken her to greater heights.
One of the top investments that DeGeneres makes relates to property acquisition. She has bought and sold several palatial estates and made a considerable profit out of it. She also invested in the vegan brand Miyoko’s. In 2018, the successful host partnered with Walmart to sell products from her clothing and accessories line, ED, by Ellen and EV1.
