Alongside his close colleague, Chad Hugo, Pharrell Williams formed the R&B and hip hop duo The Neptunes in the early ‘90s. In 2006, he released In My Mind, his debut solo album, and the rapper was also featured on the song Blurred Lines with T.I and Robin Thicke. Later on, Williams’ song Happy was the lead single of the soundtrack of the animation film Despicable Me 2. That same year, the musician was featured on Daft Punk’s single Get Lucky, which won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Record of the Year. Other accolades Williams received include 13 Grammy Awards and two Academy Awards nominations.

At the moment, the celebrity’s net worth is at $200 million, due in part to his entrepreneurial investments. Back in 2005, Williams partnered with Nigo, a Japanese fashion icon, to create the streetwear brands Ice Cream footwear and Billionaire Boys Club. He also co-designed jewelry and eyewear for Louis Vuitton.
