Kevin Costner | $250 Million
Kevin Costner started his acting career back in 1981 with the movie Sizzle Beach U.S.A. He rose to prominence, following a few minor supporting parts, with his portrayal of Eliot Ness in The Untouchables in 1987. This was followed by starring roles during this successful period of his career in films like Field of Dreams, Bull Durham, No Way Out, and Dances with Wolves, for which he won two Academy Awards, The Bodyguard, and others. In the following years, Costner starred and co-produced the most expensive film at the time, Waterworld. Other films in which Costner starred in recent years include Draft Day, Man of Steel, and Molly’s Game, to mention a few.
Currently, the Hollywood celebrity has a net worth of $250 million, due in part to his business investments, including the water-purifying technology that’s deployed during oil spills called Ocean Therapy Solutions. Costner reportedly paid $24 million to the U.S. government to buy the company that separates water and oil.
