Will Ferrell established himself in the mid-‘90s as one of the cast members on the sketch comedy show of NBC Saturday Night Live, where he performed from 1995 to 2002. Later on, he starred in comedy films like Elf, Kicking and Screaming, Semi-Pro, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, and many more. In his career, the actor received credits and accolades, including three Primetime Emmy Awards, James Joy Award, and several nominations for a Tony Award and Golden Globe Award.

Apart from acting, Ferrell founded a comedy website back in 2007 with his writing partner Adam McKay called Funny or Die. It is a website that produces and distributes comedy videos and features contributors from actors like James Franco, Zach Galifianakis, and Judd Apatow. Since its creation, the website has raised money from the major firm Sequoia Capital in Silicon Valley, as well as a partnership deal with HBO, raising the actor’s net worth to $160 million.
