George Clooney | $500 million

AFI Lifetime Achievement Award recipient George Clooney has appeared in a variety of movies and TV programs. He is best known for Ocean’s Eleven and for his directorial debut in the comedy Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. He is also multi-awarded and is admired for his political leanings and economic activism. He even served as one of the UN Messengers of Peace since 2008. Being married to lawyer Amal Clooney has certainly helped steer him in the right direction.

They say that you have to turn your passion into a business, and that is exactly what Clooney and Rande Gerber did. While they were in Mexico, given homage for its excellent tequila, the two came up with the idea of making their in-house brand. Thus, in 2013, Casamigos Tequila came into being. The brand appeared to be successful and has received positive reviews from blogs. Even Oprah promoted it at one point.
