Kristopher Van Varenberg | Jean-Claude Van Damme’s Son | Actor
Kristopher Van Varenberg is the son of martial artist-actor Jean-Claude Van Damme. He has been taking roles throughout his acting career, playing alongside his father both in front and behind the camera. The actor’s very first role was when he was five years old, and he played the child version of Jean-Claude’s character in the movie Universal Soldier. For its sequel, Universal Soldier: Regeneration, he portrayed the character of Miles. At that time, we can assume that he already has enough earnings to get a credit card and can buy things on his own without using his father’s cash.
Driven by his desire to have a long-lasting career as an actor and filmmaker, Kristopher became one of the writers of Jean-Claude’s martial arts epic movie The Tower in 2010. The young action star also made his film production debut in the film Welcome to the Jungle, where he was the associate producer. Other movies that he is credited for include The Quest, Derailed, Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning, Assassination Games, and Dragon Eyes, among others.
