Dennis Thayne “D. J.” Rodman Jr. is an American college basketball player for the Washington State Cougars of the Pac-12 Conference. He was born on April 25, 2001. Dennis Rodman, a Hall of Fame basketball player, is his father. D.J. went to Kaiser Elementary School in Costa Mesa, California, and Ensign Intermediate School in Newport Beach, California, for middle school. He was a freshman at Corona del Mar High School in Newport Beach, California, where he played basketball. He scored 19.6 points per game as a sophomore and guided his team to a 22–8 record. Dennis then moved to JSerra Catholic High School in San Juan Capistrano after the season. He averaged 16.1 points and 6.1 rebounds in his junior season. He scored 24.2 points per game and 8.9 rebounds per game as a senior.

Dennis committed to play college basketball for Washington State in May of 2019, probably without worrying about student loans. His playing time was reduced during his rookie season, but it increased after Tony Miller’s ankle injury. Dennis had a season-high eight points and five rebounds in a victory over Oregon on January 16, 2020. He averaged 1.7 points and 1.9 rebounds in 11.9 minutes per game in 26 games as a freshman at Washington State. Unfortunately, the current global situation caused the season to be cut short. We can’t wait to see more of him soon!
