Diana Ross’ daughter has grown up to be one of the best Hollywood actors of today. Tracee Ellis Ross is a familiar name and face after her breakthrough role in Girlfriends. The actress started out as an editor for a fashion magazine after getting a degree from Brown University, and it was here that she began her career as a model. She was featured in several magazines like Essence and Jet. After her modeling career, Tracee went on to start her acting career.

Among her early works included Far Harbor, Sue, and A Fare to Remember. She also took on hosting duties for The Dish. But it was her performance in Girlfriends that gotten her several nominations and awards as well as more acting projects like Daddy’s Little Girls and Labor Pains. Tracee does seem to have a penchant for acting on TV as she appeared in several episodes in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as well as in Black-ish.
