Emily Trebek is the second of George Alexander Trebek. Her father, George Alexander Trebek, better known as Alex Trebek, is a Canadian-American game show host, actor, and TV personality best known for hosting the syndicated game show Jeopardy! and winning seven Daytime Emmy Awards for his work on the show.

Emily did not want to appear on the screen despite coming from a family of actors. She said in an interview that she wanted to pursue a career as an architect, so she studied design and architecture. She enrolled at Loyola Marymount University and earned her bachelor’s degree in Design and Architecture in 2015. She later decided to pursue a career in real estate. Emily now owns and operates the interior design firm E&S Interiors in Los Angeles, California. She also works as a real estate agent in California, where she buys and sells houses. She’s been involved in several multimillion-dollar real estate deals, including a $1.5 million Culver City home and a $1 million West Hollywood home.
