She is the daughter of model and former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Hadid to Mohamed Hadid, a real estate developer.Gigi’s modeling career began at the age of two years old when she was spotted by Guess clothing designer Paul Marciano. She began modeling with Baby Guess before pausing to focus on her studies. In 2011, Hadid resumed her career and went on to rejoin Marciano’s team. After her comeback, Gigi was even named the face of a Guess campaign.

The Dutch-Palestinian model’s career reached a turning point in 2014. She made her New York Fashion Week debut in February of that year, walking in Desigual’s runway show.
