Sasha Spielberg | Steven Spielberg’s Daughter | Actress, Musician 

It’s hard to avoid fame when you have a last name like “Spielberg,” whether you want it or not. Sasha Spielberg is the daughter of film director Steven Spielberg and actress Kate Capshaw.

Before pursuing her artistic endeavors, Sasha earned her bachelor’s degree at Brown University. She has acted in many films directed by her father, including The Terminal, Munich, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and The Post. Her brother Theo was a member of the band Wardell (previously known as Brother/Sister). The Accidental Zoo, their Brother/Sister EP, was released on April 4, 2011. In 2015, they released their album Love/Idleness. Only Friends is a collaboration between Spielberg and composer and fellow Brown University alumnus Nicolas Jaar. They recorded an original single, Don’t Tell Me, as well as a cover of Leonard Cohen’s Avalanche. Literally Can’t Even, Snapchat’s first mobile series was made, written for, and starred in by Spielberg in 2015. She also uses Instagram to post her mini-improv drawings.
