Being young and growing up in an A-list family, Jaden Smith has already made a mark for himself. Smith was born in 1998. At the time, his father became known for his performance in the 1997 disaster flick Independence Day. He initially went to a private elementary school until he was homeschooled. Jaden started working on his Hollywood career at age eight.  At the time, he starred in The Pursuit of Happyness as the child of Will’s main character. His big break, however, came when he starred alongside action star Jackie Chan in the 2010 Karate Kid remake.

Aside from acting, Jaden also took a chance with his music career in 2010. The young Smith first came to light when he rapped alongside Justin Bieber in the song Never Say Never. His first album, Syre, was released in 2017, after three years of production.

Currently, Smith has a leading role in the animated series Neo Yokio. He lives in a $4 million Hidden Hills home, which he bought both as an investment and a reminder that he has made it on his own, despite having famous parents.
