Sawyer Spielberg | Steven Spielberg’s Son | Actor 

Sawyer Spielberg is following the footsteps of his celebrity parents, Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw, as an actor and now as a director. He first started out as a production assistant of his father during the shooting of the movie Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Under his father’s tutelage, Sawyer has seemed to pick up on acting where he got minor roles for movies like Afterglow (III), Breathe, and he even appeared in his father’s film, The Post.

Though he has yet to appear as a lead role, the young Spielberg had his film debut at Berlin’s European Film Market with his work, Honeydew. His work has already been dubbed as a “feverish horror”. It is still early to say whether Saywer’s investments in his new film will reap rewards or that his career as a director and actor will be as great as his parents. Whatever the case may be, we are looking forward to seeing him rise in Hollywood.
