Marcus Jordan, son of the NBA superstar Michael Jordan, had a lot up his sleeves when he spent his high school and college days playing under the shadows of his father’s greatness. Despite that, he never copied his father’s style and instead did unpredictable things in his basketball career.

One was when he played for the University of Florida. At the time, he caused the loss of his team’s partnership with Adidas by refusing to change out of his Nike Air Jordan shirt in support of the brand. Fortunately, Jordan is as good as his father on the court and still earned his team multiple victories and awards. After enjoying his college days and working on his career, Marcus opened his own sneaker company called Trophy Room in 2016. His products are inspired by the beloved Jordan sneakers that his father popularized. Their shoes eventually gained a lot of patrons among basketball enthusiasts, so we should give credit to the Jordan boys for their amazing skills both in basketball and entrepreneurship.
