Malcolm Washington | Denzel Washington’s Son | Filmmaker and Director

Malcolm Washington is a celebrity kid that transitioned from one major interest to another career. Starting out as a basketball player during his high school days, Malcolm gained a lot of supporters because of his natural talent and energy for the sport. His ardor for basketball didn’t subside during his college days that easily, as he continued bringing home the bacon for his university team.

After graduating college with a degree in filmmaking, Malcolm immediately jumpstarted into establishing himself as a filmmaker. With little investments and exposure that he had in making films, the celebrity offspring struggled a little earlier in his career and started as a production assistant in the adventure comedy film, Chef. The movie was a big hit and received a lot of accolades which gave him the opportunity to be able to work on more projects. In the end, he finally tasted the fruits of his labor, making his biggest break in the comedy-drama Summer of 17 and in the short drama, Benny Got Shot, which he directed and wrote.
