Being famous has its perks, but there’s also a downside: paparazzi. These photographers follow celebrities everywhere, from malls and restaurants to the parking lot, down to their homes. They claim they’re just doing their jobs, but sometimes things get too intense, especially when celebrities don’t want to be followed. There’s such a thing called personal space and boundaries, you know. We’ve seen countless Hollywood stars react negatively to these photographers to the degree that some of them end up in altercations. Benedict Cumberbatch is actually brilliant in real life, holding a Master’s degree, and so he had a brilliant way of avoiding the prying paparazzi. He wrote out on a piece of paper these words, “Go photograph Egypt and show the world something important,” and showed it to them. It’s such a creative idea, don’t you think?

The 36-year-old singer tried to hide by covering her entire skin—the result: camouflage Katy. She wore a cap, sunglasses, a scarf covering her face, sweater, pants, and shoes. This way, no one could recognize her. Good job, Katy!

Whatever film Leonardo DiCaprio stars in turns into a blockbuster. The same goes when it comes to being spotted by the paparazzi. The flooring actor hides with whatever he had available within his reach. In these photos, he covered his face with a fedora hat and an umbrella.
